As Europe's largest regeneration plant For ion exchange resins, also known as mixed-bed resin, we regenerate up to 40,000 liters of resin per day and operate around 10,000 customers from a wide range of industries — from A for pharmacy to Z for zoo.
Our regeneration station makes it possible to regenerate exhausted ion exchange resin at the highest technical level.
This is done through a high-precision, multi-stage process in which the resins are selectively purified, processed and returned to the cycle without loss with the same capacity and quality.
This process not only ensures the longevity of the resins, but also a sustainable and cost-effective solution for our customers.
Because we regenerate all commercially available, regenerative resins. Application-specific, single-type regeneration is possible from 2,500 liters, and a separate OEM pool can also be set up for each customer upon request.
With a comprehensive service that ranges from regeneration, disinfection and conditioning to buffering with caustic soda, we ensure that every application receives the right resin for the exact water quality required.
By regenerating resins instead of using them once, we make an important contribution to environmental protection. In contrast to the use of disposable or single-use resins, the use of reusable resins minimizes waste and reduces the need for new productions.
This allows our customers to rely on an environmentally friendly yet powerful solution that is economically advantageous in the long term.
At the ORBEN regeneration station, we focus on sustainability. For our irrigation processes, we use Rhine water, which, after treatment, is returned to the Rhine in a biologically improved state. The treatment process takes place without the use of city or drinking water.
Regenerating exhausted resin helps protect the environment and extends the life cycle of the resins, which is a cost-effective and sustainable solution.
At ORBEN, quality comes first. Each cartridge that leaves our regeneration station is provided with a batch number and a filling date.
This ORBEN standard, which originally comes from the food and pharmaceutical industries, ensures complete documentation and transparent manufacturing.
Each batch goes through a 100% check, the results of which are logged and saved for future inquiries.
It doesn't matter whether a cartridge or cartridge was filled in Wiesbaden, at the Meudt site, the decentralized service branches throughout Germany or directly at the customer's site in the ORBEN service vehicles of the Harz Express.
