Since membranes are very thin membranes or sensitive separating layers, they must be well packaged and supported in order to be used in water treatment. There are various design options for this, which are also known as MODULE TYPES: The plate module and the winding module belong to the flat membranes. As the name suggests, these are flat layers that are either pressed together to form a plate or wrapped around a pipe. The wrapping module is the most frequently used module in water treatment. Tubing membranes are used to desalinate seawater and brackish water. The module types hollow fiber and capillary module are located within a pipe, water can flow through and clog less quickly than other types of construction.
