A PIPE SEPARATOR is a pressure-controlled safety device that prevents contaminated liquids from flowing or squeezing back into drinking water. A PIPE SEPARATOR is used in domestic installations, for example, to prevent the backflow of possibly microbiologically or chemically contaminated drinking water (e.g. from a dishwasher or washing machine).
