Who is not familiar with the warning signs on wells or taps: What water is actually DRINKING WATER is regulated by the Drinking Water Ordinance (TVO). This defines how many pollutants or chemicals may still be contained in the water after the treatment of raw water. (We remember the limit!) For example, 2 mg of copper per liter is allowed, but only 0.01 mg of arsenic.
