Kidney diseases involve a blood washing procedure outside the body: dialysis. In a so-called dialyzer, the blood flows past a dialysis solution into which urea molecules, for example, can diffuse. This solution is produced using purified water, DIALYSIS WATER. This must not contain more than 0.01 mg of aluminum per liter and must of course also meet the requirements of aqua purificata.
